RECORDING CONVERSIONS
PRICING DETAILS

All pricing is shown in Australian Dollars
Prices effective from September 1 2021

This page outlines the pricing schedules for each of the types of recording copying undertaken. There are circumstances where these pricing schedules would require some customisation, however this would only be for the more complicated tasks or where a task is extra large, where a volume discount would apply.

Some volume discounts are already included in the pricing alternatives.

It is also to be remembered that considerable time may be required to complete the orders, as, with vinyl and cassette recordings, including VHS tapes when converting to DVD, it is necessary to play these through at live performance (real time) speed. The ability to copy at fast speed is only possible at the CD/DVD burning phase after the recordings have first been transferred from their original medium on the computer hard drive for subsequent processing.

Volume Discounts for Bulk Quantities of Original Media

A discount of 10% is available for where 5 items or more are provided by the customer, but less than 10 items applies and a discount of 15% applies for 10 or more items provided by the customer.

Discounted Loadings for Multiple Copies of the Finished Product

For multiple copies of the finished product, add 20% of the following rates for each additional copy, e.g. an item in the schedule above where $50.00 is quoted would create a charge of $60.00 for the original plus one additional copy. The main time and expense is involved in setting up one copy of a task.

Where it is desired to combine the contents of more than one media item (i.e. one LP, one EP, one 78 or one cassette) to a DVD, which is possible because of the extra capacity involved, then an additional charge of 60% of the basic copy rate per additional media to be added to the DVD would apply. An example of this would be to take the "Full Product " example of 12 inch vinyl or 60 minute cassette recordings to CD, which is $50.00 initial charge to which would be added $24.00 for another equivalent piece of media (60% of the basic copy rate). Adding the contents of an EP(45 RPM) or 78 RPM (60% of the basic copy rate) would be an extra $12.00. These are examples and on a standard DVD, up to 600 minutes of sound could be stored - a limitation to bear in mind. The price would increase on the basis of the above examples depending on the number of inclusions on the final DVD. The basic copy rate is the rate used for the additional items. No further discounts would apply if Colour Covers were not required - in that case, basic rate would be charged as a starting point.

Where it is desired to compile a mixture of original media (LP, EP, 78 or cassette individual tracks) from several sources to one CD or DVD, then, because of the extra time needed to set up the tracks in the correct order prior to burning, then a 30% loading will apply in recognition of the extra effort involved.
